Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the proud owner of Whistling Dog Walks, LLC!

After years of walking dogs and pet sitting part-time, I am excited to finally make it my full-time vocation. I grew up with dogs and have shared most of my adult life with a four-legged friend by my side -- at one point, I was a pet parent to 2 cats and 2 dogs. Plus, I love the outdoors and walking, a happier pace from my long-distance running days. I feel so lucky to combine my love of animals and the outdoors into a fun and rewarding career!

Pets are important members of our families. They bring so much love into our lives. They make us smile with their funny expressions and personalities. They bring us structure and balance, and slow us down when life's pace becomes harried. They are always there for us.

Sometimes, in our hectically scheduled lives, we can't always be there for them in all the ways they need, and that is when I hope you will call us here at Whistling Dog Walks. It is my aim to become your dog's favorite walker and pet’s favorite sitter. Along with the assigned duties of the visit, the visit will also include lots of kind words, smiles, hugs, and pets!

Those watchful, doleful eyes speak volumes
No words necessary, tail wagging
Gentle stretch, chin resting on my leg,
Sigh of contentment
Who needs words to express this feeling
of love.

Gaily prancing, eyes alert, moving forward
Right by my side, tail flying
Breathing in smells, happy to be out in the day
Looking up to check on me, asking
Do you like this moment?
I do.

Constant companion, you teach me to be better
Never analyzing, heart unwavering
Delighting in simple gestures of kindness
Loyal friend, protector, listener
